Purpose:

To provide access to reproductive healthcare and education through advocacy, fundraising, alliance-building, and volunteerism.

Mission:

The Equity Clinic Foundation strives to be a leader in the provision of equitable healthcare and education, while promoting diversity and inclusion in all that we do.

Vision:

By means of advocacy, education, and alliance-building, and through an anti-oppression lens, we believe everyone should have access to safe and compassionate contraception and abortion services.

Some of our activities/goals include:

To fundraise to help offset the costs of patient fees at reproductive health clinics who have challenges affording services;
To develop a reproductive healthcare education curriculum appropriate for a range of audiences, including but not limited to the patients of Equity Clinic and the general public;
To build a volunteer base of community members, for the purpose of clinic escorting among other things;
To work with mutually beneficial organizations to build alliances across various communities;
To actively work to reduce barriers to care by consciously addressing all forms of oppression (including but not limited to sexism, racism, heterosexism, ableism, transphobia, and classism).
