We are not here to decide for you – only you know what is best for you – but we can give you all of the information and support you need to make an informed, confident choice. We start by learning from you what your goals are in life and in health, we check for any risk factors to ensure your safety, and we fully support any decision you make about your pregnancy and reproductive care. Medical care should be convenient, so we do as much of the prep work as possible virtually ahead of time, such as identifying funding needs and talking through options counseling. This minimizes your time in office, making the process easier to fit into a busy schedule and less time consuming for our patients who have to travel to our clinic.

“Late term abortion” is not a medical term but a commonly used political term to shame people who terminate pregnancies in the 2nd and 3rd trimester. At Equity Clinic, we understand that there can be a lot of judgment put on our patients, and because of this we prefer to avoid using language like “late term abortion” and use the specific trimester the pregnancy is in (ie. first, second, or third), or the name of the specific procedure (like “Dilation and Evacuation”) when referring to abortion procedures.
